CHOOSE YOUR HIRE
DAY HIRE
Hire our Modern Timber, Classic Brick or Traditional Timber hut styles at Lowestoft and Felixstowe.
Huts are available at £30 per day from April to October 2026, with additional days charged at £20 per day.
Hire our Modern Brick Seashore Chalet (accessible, heated and lit indoor facility by the sea) at Felixstowe.
Huts are available at £50 per day in April to October 2026, with additional days charged at £35 per day.
WEEK HIRE
Start your hire on any day.
Hire our Modern Timber, Classic Brick, or Traditional Timber hut styles at Lowestoft and Felixstowe.
A 7‑day hire is £100 from April to October 2026, with additional days charged at £20 per day or additional weeks at £75 per week.
Winter Weekly hire is available at £30 per week from November 2026 to March 2027 (replacing the previous Winter Hire period).
Hire our Modern Brick Seashore Chalet—an accessible, heated, and fully lit indoor facility by the sea—at Felixstowe.
A 7‑day hire is £145 from April to October 2026, with additional days charged at £35 per day or additional weeks at £110 per week.
Winter Weekly hire is available at £60 per week from November 2026 to March 2027.
LONG HIRE
A selected number of our huts are available for long‑term hire, bringing together our previous summer and winter hire options into one simple offering.
Prices are £825 or £950 for the full hire period, depending on hut style. Availability is limited, so early booking is recommended.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Single day hire starts at 10am and ends at 10pm. If hiring for multiple days, weekly or long hire, your hire period starts from 10am on the first day and ends at 10pm on the last hired day.
Key collection for Modern Timber, Classic Brick and Traditional Timber hut styles is from our Seaside Offices at Lowestoft Beach and Felixstowe Seashore between 10am and 2pm on your hire start date (unless a specific appointment with a team member is otherwise arranged, Contact beachhuts@eastsuffolk.gov.uk).
For Seashore accessible beach chalets in Felixstowe, an access code will be sent to you by the Team a minimum of 14-days prior to your hire start date (there is no key collection). Please direct any access code queries to beachhuts@eastsuffolk.gov.uk or telephone 01394 444888.

If you can’t see availability on the search right now and are looking to hire at short notice, we might be able to help, just contact us. You can also call at our Seaside Offices and book in person. You can visit in person at our seaside offices a Lowestoft Beach office or Felixstowe Seashore Village office and enquire, book and pay on the day (subject to availability).
